My main display tank is a Rena Aqualife 350 in Birch. Its a good tank and I have been really pleased with it so far. When i puchased the tank it cost me £695, this also included a Rena XP3 filter and 2x 200w Heaters along with a lighting unit, but i do not use these lights as i have metal halides hanging over my main tank. The spare lights i have are in the loft which i can use as reserves for my goldfish as they use the same light units. The picture below is obviously the same tank but the contents are as above! As you can see its a nice l The total volume of water that you can get in the tank is 400 Litres, but obviously i have rock and sand etc in there, so i think i have about 330 Litres from what i have worked out. The glass is nice and thick, its 10mm unlike my sump & RO header tank which is only 6mm thick but it does the job. This tank is generally called a 4ft tank, its a depp one top to bottom too unlike some tank which are shallower. I have antoher Rena tank almost the same but its not as high. The hight is good in a marine setup as you can stack the rocks up and have some nice tall corals in there. The overall side of my tank is 121cm Wide, by 51cm deep front to back and 70.7cm high. My hole system including the water in tank and in the sump is about 530 Litres in total which is about 116 UK Gallons. Photos Of The Display Tank |
